Oil and Gas Methane Partnership
It was a pleasure to welcome the team from our overseas principal M/s. TP Europe to the UAE this week as we work together to explore opportunities relating to the Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) in the region. The OGMP is a key initiative launched by the UNEP and the Climate & Clean Air Coalition with the aim of helping companies reduce methane emissions in the oil and gas sector.
Methane is a powerful greenhouse gas and the second largest contributor to global warming, while the oil & gas industry is one of the largest sources of anthropogenic methane emissions and the sector with the greatest potential for emissions reduction.
Dome has represented M/s. TP Europe, a world leading expert in LDAR / emission monitoring and management services, since 2016 in the UAE and other Gulf regions. This business partnership will continue to establish a meaningful contribution to the country’s 2023 Year of Sustainability.
