Dome: Year of Sustainability

Back in January we were delighted to see His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan announce that 2023 will be the “Year of Sustainability” in the UAE. Now, a third of the way through the year already, we wanted to highlight 5 specific ways in which Dome is supporting the country on its journey to delivering sustainability:

  1. TP Europe – we continue to work closely with our overseas principal M/s. TP Europe, a world leading expert in leak detection & repair and emission monitoring, on significant opportunities in the UAE relating to the Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP). The OGMP is a key initiative launched by the UNEP-WCMC and the Climate & Clean Air Coalition with the aim of helping companies reduce methane emissions in the oil and gas sector.   1. BrainBox AI – this year we ventured into the energy efficiency space by partnering with M/s. BrainBox AI, a Canadian technology company, to offer an autonomous Artificial Intelligence system that optimises HVAC efficiency via the existing Building Management System to make buildings smarter, greener and more efficient. Easily installed with minimal upfront investment, the AI technology can quickly understand and predict the requirements of the building to find ways to reduce energy costs & carbon emissions and extend equipment service life. Solar Presentation at Aquila School

Our Solar team had the pleasure of visiting The Aquila School to deliver a presentation to their students on the benefits of Renewable Energy. This follows our successful installation of a rooftop Solar PV system at their campus earlier this year. It was a great opportunity to showcase the environmental savings their investment will have over the next 25 years. Thanks for having us!

Successful HSE Project in Oman

We undertook the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study for the Salalah – Thumrait Truck Road (STTR) Project. The STTR Project will feature the first of its kind road in the Sultanate of Oman, approximately 67 km in length, designed specifically for heavy vehicles and will consist of a toll gate system.
